The Maverick R MAX uses a stronger transmission and a lower gear ratio than the 2024–25 two-seat models. It feels more refined and accelerates similarly to the two-seat version.

EVP's ECU Power Flash raises rev limits, refines fan controls, improves boost and throttle response, adds two-foot braking, and changes transmission shift strategies for a more engaging driving experience.

Additional features developed by EVP include decel "pops and bangs" (coming soon), a DCT "burble" on upshifts, and adjustable launch control stored in the ECU. These are software-based and compatible with standard exhausts; race exhaust is suggested for pops-and-bangs use.

TUNE FEATURES:

  • Transmission tuning included — revised upshift/downshift to match raised rev limit (advanced DCT options sold separately).
  • Cold-start and idle fixes; rev limit, speed, and torque limits adjusted.
  • Improved throttle response, boost response, and overall power delivery.
  • Engine, intercooler, and transmission fan strategies revised for better cooling.
  • Integrated 2-foot braking; software based on latest Can‑Am update; compatible with BRP BUDS.
  • Standard tunes work with OEM muffler and catalytic converter; race exhaust recommended for Pops & Bangs.
  • E85 tuning packages available.
