DESCRIPTION

Attach this tag to your vehicle's diagnostic port/cable or a visible location nearby to alert dealers or service technicians. Dealer diagnostic tools can apply OEM software updates that overwrite custom EVP tuning and revert the ECU to stock/locked status.

To restore ECU functionality:

• Ship the ECU to: 2018 STATE ROAD 35, SOMERSET WI 54025.
• Unlock fee: $150 plus applicable taxes and shipping.
• Expected downtime: 3–5 business days at EVP, plus transit. Allow 1–2 weeks total depending on location.

Note: Applies to manufacturer-locked ECUs (common on newer models). Older-style ECUs can typically be reflashed with an EVP tuning device without returning them.
