• Increased top-cog pressure load for sidewall rigidity and reduced bowing while retaining rotational flexibility.
• Bottom cog uses high-modulus BZX1 rubber, impregnated with short Aramid fibers for heat resistance, dissipation, and better belt-to-sheave adhesion.
• Latest bottom-cog design and precision ground sidewall angle (scuffing) for smooth engagement, better power transfer, and lower belt temperature.

Limited Belt Warranty Coverage

• Covered against defects in material or workmanship under normal use.
• Warranty period: 1 year from date of purchase.
• Valid only for belts purchased from EVP or an authorized dealer.
• Replacement belts assume the remaining warranty period from the original purchase.
• Claims must be submitted within 30 days of discovering the defect.
• The belt may need to be returned for inspection at the customer’s expense.

What Is Not Covered

• Improper use or operating conditions.
• Clutching issues or mechanical malfunctions.
• Heat damage or belt wear.
• Improper installation or break-in.

Drive Belt Failures (summary)

• Hour Glassing — Narrow/worn center; caused by spinning drive clutch with stationary belt. Not Warrantied.
• Cord Pop Out — Center cord separates from belt; caused by improper bonding. Warrantied.
• Flex Crack — Caused by improper bending/flexing. Not Warrantied.
• Glazing — Shiny, overheated sides from slippage or improper clutching/abuse. Not Warrantied.
• Tearing — Belt hit something or tore; often from worn/damaged clutches, jumping, or bowing. Not Warrantied.
• Delamination — Separation of layers from improper bonding. Warrantied.
• Broken Belt — From shock loading, prolonged high-speed overdrive, excessive engagement RPM, wrong gear ratio, center-to-center issues, or jammed drivetrain. Not Warrantied.
• Disintegration — Belt separated into pieces due to conditions like hour-glassing, glazing, flex cracks, misalignment, restricted clutch housing airflow; excessive heat is main cause. Not Warrantied.
