DESCRIPTION

The Maverick R uses the X3 R/RR fuel pump assembly with a twin‑injector per cylinder layout. The stock pump (~155 LPH) and small ~450cc injectors limit the use of high‑power E85 tunes, which need ~30% more fuel at the same boost. EVP re‑engineered the assembly to retain stock injectors while providing the flow and pressure needed for 300+ wheel horsepower on E85.

Both kits include:

• CNC machined billet aluminum fuel hat
• Billet fuel hat wiring harness assembly
• E85‑safe DW 340LPH fuel pump
• Billet spin‑on filter housing with serviceable 100‑micron stainless filter
• Mil‑Spec relay wiring harness
• Integrated 4.5 bar fuel pressure regulator (static 65 psi or rising rate)
• X3 fuel filter O‑ring

Rising Rate Drop-In Assembly:

• Fully assembled Maverick R pump assembly with 340LPH pump
• Drop‑in replacement for OEM assembly

Rising Rate Conversion Kit:

• 340LPH fuel pump only
• Reuses the OEM assembly
• Includes crimping tools for conversion

The 4.5 bar regulator matches OEM pressure and is a direct replacement for 2018+ X3 (non‑base) and Maverick R. The system uses an OEM‑style surge basket and includes a boost reference hose that connects to the auxiliary port on the EVP charge tubes (required for rising rate E85 tunes). The assembly supplies flow for ~400 wheel horsepower on E85, with adequate headroom. The OEM assembly’s filter is not serviceable; EVP provides a billet spin‑on, serviceable 100‑micron element. The included relay harness moves high current off the ECU to the power block while the ECU still controls pump on/off. 91/93 gasoline tune files have been reworked for the rising rate system to allow switching between gasoline and E85 without hardware changes.
